Hunting with Hounds
Our passion for hound hunting started many years ago when Adrian started hunting bushpigs with a local houndsman. From there he started his own pack in 2015 which consisted of one 10 week old pup named Borat. A few months later we invested in 2 more pups, Prince and Milly. After lots of frustration the dogs learnt the basics of discipline, scenting, chasing and treeing. We added in some more pups and formed our first pack which has subsequently been expanded by selective breeding. In 2017 the pack treed their first leopard and the game was on. Since then the pack has successfully hunted many leopards per season and continue to perform at the highest level.
The hunt for leopard using hounds adds a whole new dimension to your hunt. From the moment you start the game of chess to the moment the tracker sitting on the front of the vehicle raises his hand and your heart stops in hopes that he has cut a runnable track. The trail, the chase and the bay up are all memories that will last a life time.

Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe offers the finest leopard hunting over hounds in Africa.
With tough scenting conditions through the dry winters, extremely clever ranch cats and huge boulder caves to contend with, the notorious leopards of the Lowveld have proven time and time again that the big cats are big for a reason.
In saying that, we have mastered a way to catch these notorious cats. With many of them uninterested in feeding from a bait, cutting tracks at night has become the most productive method to catching these leopard.
In certain areas such as the Nuanetsi Cattle Section, where hunting at night is not permitted, we cut roads in the early hours of the morning and once a track is cut we do our best to isolate it into a block before dropping the hounds at first light.

Botswana
Botswana is the ideal location for a hunter who would like to take a leopard over hounds with an incredibly high success rate.
The terrain also allows for clients who would not be able to keep up with hounds in a physical hunt, as 90% of the hunt pursuit is done from a vehicle with trackers and hounds on the ground. This style of hunting requires a fair amount of patience as these cats are know to cover huge distances in search of food, females
and water.
Once we cut the tracks of a harvestable male leopard the energy of the team goes through the roof and the excitement starts to show. Depending on the tracking conditions, once the trackers have started the pursuit you will witness some of the most incredible tracking you will ever see.
